Best of 2022! What a year!

I’m not quite sure how its happened, but here I am on the 1st January 2023, wondering where the hell 2022 went?! But it seems like a good time to reflect back on my second full year of capturing some amazing weddings, whilst looking forward to all of the fantastic weddings I have in the diary for 2023. This year I have captured proposals on the beach, announced pregnancies to gathered family who were none the wiser, captured a 50th (!!) wedding anniversary and captured many weddings all over the country.

I have been extremely fortunate to have met some really awesome couples, all who trusted me to capture their wedding days, and who have gone on to become friends in the process. I’ve had so much fun witnessing some of the antics that go on, laughed out loud, and i’ll happily admit, cried on occasions (father of the bride speeches always seem to get to me). It really is a great privilege to be allowed into the inner circle of two families on such a momentous occasion and it is never lost on me that I am documenting the start of a new chapter in both of the couples lives. That is why I strive to do my absolute best every time and why I really try to embed myself in the centre of the action to capture all the important moments of your day.

I have also been really happy to have worked alongside some amazing suppliers at some stunning venues, all of whom go above and beyond to make your wedding day perfect. There will always be little things that happen on a wedding day, whether it be a delay in something arriving, something getting damaged, someone not being able to make it, the list is endless. but I am so grateful that the couples who choose me tend to have. the perfect attitude that they are going to have the best day regardless and they don’t sweat the small stuff!
